What we do

Garage door repair and installation

Every job is quoted flat before work starts, and the service call is free when we do the repair.

Broken Spring Replacement in Naples area
01

Broken Spring Replacement

Torsion springs snap without warning, and salt air off the Gulf shortens their life. We replace them in matched pairs so the door stays balanced. Most spring jobs run $200 to $500 installed.

Opener Repair And Replacement in Naples area
02

Opener Repair And Replacement

Gears strip, logic boards fail and safety sensors drift out of alignment. We test the whole system before quoting. Typical opener repair runs $150 to $300. A new opener supplied and installed is usually $350 to $650.

Cables, Rollers And Tracks in Naples area
03

Cables, Rollers And Tracks

Frayed cables, seized rollers and bent track pull a door out of square and can leave it jammed halfway. We reset the door on its track, replace the worn hardware and check the balance by hand.

New Door Installation in Naples area
04

New Door Installation

New doors need a Florida Product Approval for the wind zone, a permit and an inspection. We handle the paperwork and the install. Single doors typically run $700 to $2,000 installed, doubles $1,200 to $4,000.

Hurricane Season Prep in Naples area
05

Hurricane Season Prep

Hurricane season runs June through November. We check bracing, hinges, track fasteners and the product approval label so you know where the door stands before a storm watch goes up, not during one.

Tune Ups For Seasonal Homes in Naples area
06

Tune Ups For Seasonal Homes

Doors that sit unused for months seize at the rollers and lose spring tension. A tune up covers balance, lubrication, sensor alignment and hardware torque, and runs about $90 to $150. Good before you leave and after you return.

Why Gulfshore

How We Work

Flat Price Up Front

We quote the whole job before touching a tool, parts and labor together. If the price changes because the door needs something else, we stop and ask you first.

Coastal Grade Hardware

Salt air off the Gulf eats springs, cables and hinges faster than inland air. We fit galvanized and coated hardware where it makes sense and tell you plainly when standard parts are fine.

HOA And Permit Ready

Gated communities here run architectural review, and replacements need a permit and inspection. We provide the model details, product approval numbers and photos your board and the county ask for.

About us

About Gulfshore Garage Door

Gulfshore Garage Door Repair is new. We are not going to dress that up with a fake history. What we bring is straightforward: careful diagnosis, parts we would put on our own homes, and a written price before the work starts. Every job gets photographed so you can see what we found and what we changed.

We built this around how Naples actually lives. Homes sit empty through the summer. Salt air works on hardware year round. Boards want drawings and approval numbers before a door changes color. We plan for all of it, we show up when we say, and we clean up the old parts and packaging before we leave.

Where We Work

We cover Naples and Old Naples along Gulf Shore Boulevard, North Naples and Vanderbilt Beach, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Estero and Golden Gate. Coastal doors take the worst of the salt air, and inland doors see heavy sun and heat. We carry parts for both.

Questions

Straight answers

How much does a broken spring cost to replace?
Most spring jobs run $200 to $500 installed for a matched pair. We replace both springs even when only one is broken, because the second is the same age and tends to fail soon after. You get the exact price before we start.
Can you come out the same day?
Often yes, especially for a door that will not open or close. Call (239) 361-3354 and we will tell you honestly what time we can get there. If a part has to be ordered, we say so on the phone instead of after the visit.
Do I need a permit to replace my garage door?
Yes. In Florida a replacement door is part of the wind load envelope of the house, so it needs a Florida Product Approval rated for your wind zone, a permit and a final inspection. We pull the paperwork and give you the approval numbers for your records.
Should I repair my opener or replace it?
Depends on the failure. Sensors, gears and remotes are usually worth fixing, and typical opener repair runs $150 to $300. If the logic board is dead on a unit over ten years old, a new opener supplied and installed at $350 to $650 is the better spend.
Why do doors near the water fail sooner?
Salt air corrodes springs, cables, hinges and fasteners faster than inland air, and the closer you are to the Gulf the faster it works. Rust on a cable is a safety problem, not a cosmetic one. Coastal doors are worth checking once a year rather than waiting.
My community requires HOA approval. Can you help?
Yes. Gated communities here usually run architectural review before a door changes. We give you the model, panel style, color and the Florida Product Approval number in a form you can submit to the board, and we schedule the install once approval comes back.
